During a session a check in to see how you are feeling is first addressed. You can then inquire about any concerns you might have and your goal(s) can be discussed for the session. I may use a variety of techniques including gentle movements, breath work, sound, meditation, restorative yoga, gentle hands on techniques and therapeutic art.
I recommend once a week to start. This provides practice and consistency to become aware of emotions and sensation's. Some people notice a shift within one session, while others may need a couple of weeks to months.
The number of sessions needed will vary upon your goals and individual progress. People may experience emotional discomfort as they connect with their emotions and physical sensations. We can work together to create a individual plan to meet your goals.
